Limehouse garden top !



A lacy flower pattern in the shoulder sections and around the bottom gives pretty, feminine detail to the solid-stitch body of this sweet little top that can easily go from casual to dressy.
FINISHED SIZES: Instructions given fit size small; changes for medium, large, X-large, 2X-large and 3X-large are in [ ].

Bust: 37 inches (small) [411/2 inches (medium), 46 inches (large), 501/2 inches (X-large), 55 inches (2X-large), 591/2 inches (3X-large)]
MATERIALS: Tamm Diamante super fine (fingering) weight acrylic/nylon yarn (31/2 oz/470 yds/100g per skein): 3 [3, 4, 4, 5, 5] skeins #1383 leaf green
Size D/3/3.25mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
Working in V-st pattern: 10 V-sts = 4 inches; 14 rows = 4 inches
Take time to check gauge.
PATTERN NOTES
Back is worked to underarm and then fastened off. Front is worked same as Back, and then Shoulders and Sleeves are added and later attached to Back.
Chain-8 at beginning of row counts as first treble crochet and chain-4 unless otherwise stated.
Chain-7 at beginning of row counts as first treble crochet and chain-3 unless otherwise stated.
Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Assembly
Sew side seams.
Sew last sc row of Shoulders to Back to correspond to Front.

Rnd 1: With RS facing, join in first st on Back after Shoulder, ch 1, sc in same st and in each of next 23 [35, 23, 35, 23, 35] sts, 100 [108, 108, 108, 116, 116] scalong Left Shoulder, 24 [36, 24, 36, 24, 36] sc along Front neck, 100 [108, 108, 108, 116, 116] scalong Right Shoulder, join in first sc. Rnds 2-5: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join in beg sc.
Sizes Medium & X-Large Only
Rnd [2]: Ch 1, sc in each of first 10 sc, sc dec (see Stitch Guide) in next 2 sc, [sc in each of next 10 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc around, join in beg sc. ([264, 288 sc)
Rnds [3-5]: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join in beg sc.
Size 3X-Large Only

Rnds 2 & 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join in beg sc.
Rnd 4: Rep rnd 6 of Neck Edging.
Bottom Edging
Rnd 1: With RS facing, working on opposite side of starting ch on row 1 of Front and Back, join in first ch after side seam, ch 1, sc in each ch around, and at same time, inc 2 sts if necessary to achieve a multiple of 4 sts.
Rnds 2-5: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join in first sc.Rnd 6: Rep rnd 6 of Neck Edging.
